As most of us know, what we see in the movies isn’t always what it appears to be. From snakes on a plane to dancing household decor, 3D models have made movie magic that much easier to create. While we know models available on TurboSquid have been used in all forms of entertainment, some of our customers are still a bit resistant to share the role that models from our catalog have played in production. For those that do share, our artists, customers and staff do love seeing models starring alongside real life celebs in hit television series, dancing through advertising spots, and even on the big screen.
We try to make a big deal out of the use of these models, and were pretty stoked when we got our own IMDb page highlighting some of the shows that have utilized 3D models (no autographs, please).
Tech savvy TS customers, especially those working in post production for feature films and top television series, often keep us in the loop on those assets that have been used and have made the cut (literally), providing information as detailed as show name, episode number and the use. For those that still have clips available online, we have included a link as bonus content. *Side note: watching clips at work may or may not be considered research by your boss.
