Michele Bousquet and Beau Perschall of TurboSquid presented a talk Tuesday at the VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy. A mix of 3D professionals and aspiring visual effects artists attended the talk entitled “CheckMate: 3D Modeling Standards for Today’s Pipelines.”
Presenting in the same hall were Pixar’s Sharon Calahan on lighting techniques for Cars 2, and Gavin Graham of Double Negative on VFX for Captain America.
Aside from spreading the word about CheckMate and getting to meet many of our customers and artists, we are also enjoying beautiful Turin, which lights up at night like a constellation.
