Today is Mardi Gras, the final day in a weeks-long traditional Louisiana celebration. There have been parades-a-plenty for weeks, culminating in a final blow-out day of parades and parties. This year is particularly special, as it marks the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, plus we’ve had a Super Bowl win.
Many of New Orleans’ oldest families participate in Mardi Gras, having put on parades and balls for decades. Some of TurboSquid’s staff even ride in parades!
We’re officially closed today, although support is still open. We wanted to wish you a happy Mardi Gras as we celebrate this very special holiday.
