Hello, TurboSquid community! I’m Elise Hatheway, the Library Curator at TurboSquid. My job is to increase the overall quality of the TurboSquid catalog. We’ve already got the ball rolling, and are making large strides toward a higher-quality TurboSquid library for 2010.
Our Editorial team is currently reviewing products and advising publishers on how to improve them. We look for clear and adequate thumbnails, Polygon/Vertex counts, and accurate descriptions, just to name a few. We’re also weeding out poor-quality products to improve our catalog overall. With TurboSquid’s new Publisher, active artists are making better presentations than ever, which makes my job even easier.
I actually started at TurboSquid as an intern in 2007 just before graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design. As an artist myself, getting to work with our talented publishers hardly seems like a job. As such, I’m happy to be providing artists in the 3D community with a quality library through TurboSquid.
If you have any questions about TurboSquid’s quality initiative, you can open a support ticket or visit the TurboSquid Library Quality Forum. I’ll be happy to tell you more about what we’re doing to improve the TurboSquid library.
